Great News. Our charity was awarded a substantial grant from the Gloucestershire County Council 'Thriving Communities' Fund in 2018 to promote the use of elderly persons' luncheon clubs in the Forest area. We have now held seven pop-up lunches at Forest venues in the past months with great success. These were publicised and promoted as free-of-charge events to encourage attendances at such clubs and the formation of new clubs. Attendances at the free events were high as expected but the success has been the continued greater attendances at later luncheon club meetings. The project will entail about 12 free pop-ups in total by the end of spring 2019.

The Charity now operates a TWO HUNDRED club in which participants pay £12 per year to be included in a monthly draw for cash prizes of £25, £15 and £10. This helps to fund our ongoing services. For more information call Anthea MacCann on 01594-827927
